Everyone who played highstakes hu poker with him lost in the long run. Sure, he has a curse of gambling, but the man is a genius when it comes to the game of poker. Even though he lost it all, at least he got there, something you and I are totally incapable of. His life experience is one of a kind. If you play poker and can't respect that man then there's something seriously wrong with you.

some one who arrives in vegas with $50 borrows 10k off a friend and builds it up to 40 million..... then loses it all - its actually quite an itneresting story i think!!

not ebing funny but how can someone earn 40 million and then lose it all? Maybe if you lost say 10 million ...... But also i think hes LOL - because, in thie history of Vegas, someone like him was bound to come along at some point - someone who wins HUGE but then loses it all But if it was me..... i would have say won 40 miillion, maybe lost back 10 million but kept the remaining 30 million so hed never have to work again in his life time!

i wouldn't call it a "donkfest". although he lost back everything he has won you gotta give credit for him. u cant beat the house playing dice in the long run, everyone knows that, but karas was the closest thing ever to do it all by himself. he was also considered the best heads up stud/razz player at the time. only person to beat him heads up for a million was johnny chan.
