Y'know I never cared about the term jazz too much... i think the musical landscape would be a lot poorer if jazz remained in the old styles. She wasn't a one-hit-wonder, but I could totally agree with you..I hate the "warbling" effect they do, it just annoys me..Shanice's style of singing is simple and beautiful, and so is she..It goes to show you don't have to be half naked and look slutty like alot of these female singers nowadays to look hot and pretty..Shanice was and still is a natural beauty - something half of them can't hold a candle to.
