I laughed to death when I saw this...like we (portuguese people you know) never had the tradition of the family to kiss the bride or broom, and we don't sell our kids to anyone (we're at 21st century...), not to mention that almost everyone speaks english here...anyway, you probably notice that everything that happens in this part of the film is a bit (very) exagerated...(I just love it when Colin tries to speak our language, it's simply awesome xD)

We're actually in agreement here. Beyonce had a very luck break with Crazy In Love, especially considering the fact it also featured Jay-Z. I'm sure there are some church and club singers who are very competent vocally, but due to a multitude of reasons, whether it be their age, image, or lack of distinguishable characteristics, they will remain singing in such contexts. A large part of any singer's success, regardless of how talented they are, can be directly attributed to good PR. That's why the grammy's and other award shows asks her to do these covers..Because she's really the only current vocalist that can handle them. This is one of the reasons I thank God for the Internet! Agrant, thanks for sharing this with us all. Now have you guys noticed how modern this song is, not talking about the lyrics, but the arrangement, the melody. It does not sound oldfashioned.
