I had a 300d myself until someone broke into my hotelroom in tunesia and I had to spend two days on a north african police station to report the theft. My insurance paid, I bought the 350d and six months later someone broke into my flat, fortunately the insurance paid again and I bought the 400d. I hope this does not happen again, as unlikely as it is (and was) I would doubt it myself, when it happens again ... but I am not superstitious :-)

I don't think that question has a solid answer, every camera has its own strengths and weaknesses, i suppose in the end it all comes down to personal choice, and the experiences of others. I myself am going with the Canon. Simply because i've heard its very very good and a few of my friends have one. And i've even looked at them and handled them myself. Just have a look around and look at reviews and such. You'll be able to choose eventually. Good luck :)

I have both models and in fairness theres not a huge difference? I mean yes the 40D has better quality blah blah blah but I find the 350D is more enjoyable? Mainly because it wasnt as expensive and if it was nicked or broken then I wouldnt mind too much (as long as no amazing shots were lost). But I always take my 350 everywhere and its a lot lighter. Plus who needs the extra FPS? Unless your an action photographer and you need it?

Hey I have done thousands of good paintball pics with the ball in the air... i am very happy with 350D... now i am going to 12 mp xsi yis the same cmos sensor but is lighter than 40D .... 40D has WI FI transmitter as an accesory... xsi doesnt but what i need most is resolution...so I can get rebels...

isn't just FPS, it is a big diff, quality of body, viewfinder, function, buttons. In one sentence: 40D is proff . I see allot of people that runs only for hightech, but they just don't use cameras. I see persons that actualy have 1D and use it in full auto!!! All that is matter is the person ho push the button. By the way both are APS-C so ... the wide is .. you know

This Ransomes 350D Diesel Mower has a KUBOTA V1702 4-cylinder Liquid-cooled IDI diesel engine. I put a Interstate Mega-tron plus 875cca battery in it. Took a while to put the battery in then I made sure that the battery cables were connected to the battery. It is going to have a good engine tune-up with new filters and oil change.
