It's pretty difficult to run those numbers with a FWD car. 1) Who cares about VW the car isn't awd so that's why. 2) AMS's evo 8 puts down a little over 1000awhp and they run low low 8's with it. ALso there are MANY skylines in japan that run low 8's high 7's with 1000-1500awhp. Point Proven> Search AMS if you want the proof? You sound like you know nothing about cars. I'm sure he did, or he bought it from someone who did. You can buy kits like this, but not a kit in the form you may expect- still requires machine tools for finishing. I would expect it has 4 coils on it (not distributors) and that the leads go to opposite cylinders where one is TDC for ignition and the other is TDC for exhaust- called 'wasted spark'.

From what I had understood from what I have seen with my (little) experience with Fords was that the 390 and 428 (or 429 can't remember) had a lower set crank and ran a longer rod than usual in Fords. I was told those are "Y" blocks sorry I did not know the correct term... I knew the 460 is a Ford engine as well, our company truck has one and we're looking to get rid of it cause 7mpg sucks. Either way, cool video and I learned something more about Ford engines. : )

The average Harley rider rides every other Sunday when the weather is nice and then has the nerve to tell me I'm not a "real" biker, or whatever. I've been riding for 17 years, all Japanese bikes. Rode a Katana from California to Florida and back. Rode an SV1000S on a 2,500 mile round trip to the Redwoods and back. I ride 99% of the time I go anywhere, about 18,000 miles/year. As far as longevity, a Boss Hoss or Harley couldn't outlast an ice cube in a fireplace. There's a waiting list of days, and even weeks just to get a Harley serviced. Yeah, their service department is always busy. They leak oil brand new. When you see a bike broken down on the side of the road it's a Harley. BTW, 1/2 of the mechanics at my local Harley dealer where my friend works ride Japanese bikes. The other 1/2 are in denial just like all other Harley riders. There's good money fixing Harleys

u cant control that much power from a dead stop. at 80 mph it still breaks the tire loose with ease and on a rolling start the hoss will win every time ive seen it happen. and if you want to talk about power to weight the hoss wins that too. some are BB 502 with 510hp. some are alum small blocks with 800 hp and one was even made w an 871 blower. so your power to weight comment means shit.
