I wonder how many soldiers have sung this song. Vince definately put a different interpritation on this song with the video, and it is so wonderfully done. My husband was deployed Christmas Day 1990 to Iraq when he served in one of the U. S. Army's field artillery units. Merry Christmas to all the soldiers away from their families, we love you all. Thanks from a Desert Storm Veterans wife.

Having spent two Christmas' away from home during wars I know the feelings these men portrayed. It really brought back some old feelings. It makes me think of all our men and women who are away from home. Great video.

Hey thanks for adding this Video. I love this video so much. I listen to it every December. It has a very special meaning for me. I have spent 3 Christmas's in Iraq and I am going to spend my 4th Christmas next year. I know how those soldiers in the video feel. I remember pulling guard duty in December 2004 thinking about home and seeing my family.

This is probably the best Christmas video ever. Great pairing of a beautiful version of the song with a bittersweet story. I'm glad someone finally posted it. But it still isn't Christmas until I hear the Elvis version, it's such a classic.

Thank you so much for posting this! I first heard this version when it came out..I was 12 years old and it was so striking to my memory. I've been looking for it online for a while and I'm so glad I finally found it. The most heartfelt version of Blue Christmas by far!
