It's a two point argument: One. As stated, 'you can't suppress words.' There either IS Freedom of Speech, or there ISN'T. No in between. Two. It didn't really come out, but I think Frank would have agreed that NO ONE is qualified to judge which words would be allowed, or not, because of personal biases and beliefs. It would never work. But the First Amendment is really the key point; it can't be compromised.
