this is a fuzz pedal, not a distortion pedal...it is slightly misleading to portray this pedal as a crusher...(metal) bc it aint for metal, its for indie fuzz sounds. i play a G&L legacy special to a peavey deltablues 210 and i really needed a pedal that had more gain than the boss super overdrive and thought this would cut the cake...it has hella gain, but its a fuzz gain, not a cutting distortion gain...if you like fuzz this is a great pedal, but it doesnt cut through the mix. the 3 band eq is nice too
