But when I linked the seller of my D6 to this EXQUISITE clip, he wrote back that Stevie is playing a 5 model. I gotta agree, Jimi is like a god of rock and Stevie is like a jesus of rock (both very well trained and influenced from the blues masters), but they both made a Fender Stratocaster what it is today, a definitive rock instrument! Both are the best electric guitar players ever. Also, as you said about Jimi never playing a song same way twice, same goes for Stevie. Stevie too never played a song same way twice. I was at Steve's concert here in Melbourne, WHAT A LEGEND!! Absolutely brilliant! I was gobsmacked, being a musician myself, and having played in bands for over 25 years, you appreciate absolute legends like this man, and thank them for bringing us the music he has done so far. I went to see him inconcert in september, and have been on a high since. When he sang this, everyone was stood up and everyone was dancing. It was amazing, ands the rest of the songs were too, including 'isnt she lovley' and Aisha was there too!!!! I'm so happy and proud of the fact I went to see him!!!! He doesn't come over to the UK often, he's not been over in forever before this year...

If you count Zep as early metal than there is an acception. r rhoads was a trip. kinda liked him. took lesons the complete time he was playing with ozzy. skinny as a rail and perfect for rock stardom. big bummer 'bout the early accident resulting in death. I said it. I hate metal. I'm talking about the virtuosity aspect. Musically almost all metal guitarists suck IMO. So I was talking technicality. As far as musical lyricism SRV rocks over 99999.9% of metal megalomaniacs. Oh and I am so happy you are telling me to learn something... what sarcasm is.
