Well, im a jazz and classical pianist, so i've heard plenty of Herbie stuff, and i've heard plenty of Rudess stuff, and while Herbie is amazing, Rudess is just unbeatable when it comes to technical skills. I think you can't compare them anyway, because their way of playing and their kind of music is so different. Wakeman and Emerson are also much older than Rudess. In my opinion, all of them are great musicians and you don't really need to compare anyone of them at all.
