Désolé mon gars, mais j'ai vu tous les morceau de mattrach, et je le suis de près, mais la ya un goufre. Matt et tres bon techniquement, a un bon feeling, un bon touché, mais comparé a eux...que dalle... Eux ils mettent leurs emotions dans leurs jeux, mattrach rien (ou alors l'envie de devenir celebre). Et M, aussi c'est un dieu. Puis ils jouent pas la meme zik, mattrach lui se fait bouffer par le shred, alors que eux c'est blues/rock. (attendons quelques années pour etre serieux sur mattrach)

Thank you for being SO receptive to my rant :) i've seen a lot of requests for blues solos tabs and i eventually decided to speak up! guess you just got unlucky! it's just really cool to get such a "grown up" response - a lot of people would've turned nasty! If you want Otis' playing to come through heavily in your own style, then try playing along with his records. A lot! Then try breaking his trademark riffs down into bitesize pieces, but always try to be original when you can. good luck!

Hi, I hope you don't take any offence here - just being honest. No one would EVER have the tabs for something like this for two reasons: It's blues i.e. it's improvised, so why would you want to copy something that someone else didn't even know what they were doing until they did it? Secondly, this is Otis, who is in firmly in the "feel" and "less is more" camp of blues playing, so even if an exact riff was tabbed out, no-one else could play it "correctly" other than Otis. Pardon my rant bro!

OMG!!! Thanks so much for posting this!! I love Otis Rush & this brings back memories of seeing him live @ Chicago B.L.U.E.S in NYC. I know he suffered s stroke...& I don't know if this footage is before or after. I'm hoping it's after...that means he can still play!! God bless you, Mr. Rush!! Peace & Blues in NYC *;*

Smoldering, Dude! This guy is a throwback to the Real Deal! I've seen some of his other videos, and it's too obvious that he plays with the pain he has endured that can only be gain from a lifetime of living. If Guitar god Eric Clapton can stand in awe and reverence of Mr. Rush, then that is enough said for us mere mortals.
