You're very young, aren't you? The only reason Led Zeppelin stopped recording records and touring as a group is because their drummer John Bonham died in 1980. They felt at the time that no one else could replace their friend and group-mate. Not to mention the fact that John Bonham was a heck of a 'double-kick' drummer.
