they first named it suicide but they re-named it chop suey in the beginning serj says we're rolling suicide so it's just a play on words suey-cide that is why they named it that and for your info the song doesn't neccesarily have to have anything to do with the song or even be mentioned, maybe it was what he was thinking of or what sounded good. but most likely there is a reason behind why they named it that.

my relatives have experienced the exact same thing. i ve never been to egypt, but would love to go. but definitely, Arab women not covered are bein harrassed badly, and in the evening you see practically no Egyptian women in the streets. when my uncle and aunt were young, they say it was very different. couples would go out, it would be more joyous and less "tense" regarding women and their presence.
