Chinese Democracy is really good i reckon, it's different but after 14 years of making it or whatever it HAD to be something different and unique! You can't expect another Sweet Child o Mine or November Rain but theres still some great songs on there imo. Axl more or less DID ruin Guns N' Roses and if I was to list an amount of reasons, I'd be here all night. He was a dictator who was obsessed with his grand visions of a stadium style band, theatrical and corny. The rest of GNR did NOT want that. That said - Axl needed GNR just as much as GNR needed him, thus the downfall of the band was always inevitable and that's a shame, because they were one of the best bands ever.

Excuse me if I've offended you or insulted your hero. I admit it has been years since I have followed GnR, but I do remember a show I caught in the early 90's where axl was off sulking somewhere and nearly started a riot, while the rest of the guys were present, and ready to go. Also it seems something similar happened in St Louis around that time too. I not saying you're not right about the drug recovery sech, but if I were those guys, I wouldn't want to work with him.

That's all bull shit, you said probably Axl drove them off, guess what, he didn't. Izzy had just sobered up and cleaned up his act and then just couldn't take it anymore, the gigs and tours weren't what they had seemed before especially with Adler and Slash strugling with addictions. Axl, tried to clean up the boys. So dont go around insulting Axl, slash and adler kinda ruined it with their heroine/cocaine addiction. Axl, beeing the kind of person immune to addiction was clean on most gigs.

i only found out bout this band today. I like Izzy and thats the only reason i like the songs cause he is so good..... Guns n Roses did make it without him... they just sounded shitter..... but the r still good.... but MOTLEY CRUE kick ass to all.... and so does IZZY!!!!

I think that this man was the head of guns his music s amazing & he's so underrated,he hasn't a good voice but he sounds so good izzy stradlin's a great musician s the better from guns when he leftout, the group die & he can compose amazing too everybody that knows the rock this is a legend! sorry but axl was stupid he turn down the vol of izzy for that he goon other way & for other problem for drug in the group axl & his egocentrism problems. guns and roses = without him without songs
